How to use RoophTop

For Users (Renters)

RoophTop is very user friendly!

Using the search bar for car rental or vacation rental, type in your destination of travel (the city where you need the car) and search.

Scroll through the list of cars (or house) options available in the state or city destination and select your choice and book. Ensure to specify your date and time for pickup and drop-off.

On the day of car pickup, make sure to show your identification card or driver’s license. The host will present you with the keys to the car (or house) that you booked. Depending on the location of pickup or drop-off, ensure to arrive on time or communicate delays with the host.

Ensure to take some pictures of the exterior and interior of the car (or house) at the time of pickup to establish condition and state of cleanliness.

For Hosts (Owners)

RoophTop is designed to ensure our hosts (owners) have the best experience:

Create an account as a user and then click to become a host. Register as a host and update the information of the car (or house) that you are listing.

Upload at least five (5) pictures of the car (or house) that you are listing.

Select an appropriate cover picture that would display on user search.

Rates: Ensure to update the daily rate for your car with all the guidelines on daily mileage. Specify if you would be dropping off the car for an additional fee or provide a pickup location for no additional fee.

Select your preferred RoophTop payment option and vehicle coverage model. RoophTop defaults to 100% payment of booking cost to hosts. The default model allows for total booking cost paid by the user to be forwarded to the host until it’s updated to a different option.

Note: Hosts are required to present their car (or house) in the best condition possible for the ultimate experience for users. Also, ensure to take interior and exterior pictures as proof of cleanliness and great condition.
