Refunds

ROOPHTOP Data Protection Policy outlines how we handle personal data. This platform is powered by Hi-Rising. Re-inventing the approach to sharing by implementing peer-to-peer rental.

For domestic booking

Car reservation

cancellation of car reservation initiated over 24 hours of pick-up would receive full refunds for the applicable booking. Cancellations made after 24 hours would be reviewed to determine how many days are eligible for refund. Domestic guests would be marked as no shows after 10 hours of scheduled time. Also, driver’s who show up without a driver’s license or an invalid license are marked as no-shows

Guest house or hotel reservation

refunds are issued for all cancellation initiated over 24 hours to check-in unless otherwise stated by the guidelines of the applicable owner or business. Please read carefully the specific guidelines of the owner or company before cancellation. For any cancellations made due to uncleanliness of the place or safety concerns would be fully refunded after reviewing the evidence presented.

For international booking

Car reservation

cancellation of car reservation initiated over 48 hours to pick-up would receive full refunds for the applicable booking. Cancellations made after 48 hours would be reviewed to determine how many days are eligible for refund. For international guests who do not show up after 24 hours, they would be marked as a no show. Also, driver’s who show up without a driver’s license or an invalid license are marked as no-shows

Guest house or hotel reservation

refunds are issued for all cancellation initiated over 72 hours of check-in unless otherwise stated by the guidelines of the applicable owner or business. Please read carefully the specific guidelines of the owner or company before cancellation. For any cancellations made due to uncleanliness of the place or safety concerns would be fully refunded after reviewing the evidence presented, provided you did not accept it or checked-in.

Guest No-shows

Host must report no shows to the RoophTop Team within 48 hours of a guest missing the check-in date and time. Host is eligible for full payment for guests marked as no shows. Additional $15 would be charged for guests' late arrival more than two hours after scheduled time.

Specific Agreed Upon Host Refunds

If there are any specific refunds due to you from the host based on any inconveniences or accommodations, the host must put it in a message to RoophTop as an agreement between the host and the guest.

Refunds Processing Duration

Applicable refunds are processed within 5-10 business days depending on the method of payments except for samsung pay which takes up to 25 days. Otherwise, please let us know if you want to apply refunds to future trips
